The following application is for the position of Social Media Specialist at MelJeanty LLC.
The Social Media Specialist is a 6-month contract position (full-time schedule, 40 hours per week) with the potential to renew and extend based on performance, with the following tasks (please note that this list is non-exhaustive):

Develop social media content plans that are consistent with the company and clients’ brand identity and objectives

Create and publish consistent & meaningful content on all social media platforms, including writing, designing and editing social media posts and video shorts

Communicate with social media account followers, including responding to messages in a timely manner
-
Communicate with and update clients on the progress of each project via email, phone, meetings and client portals
-
Use analytical tools such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite Pro, Later and Meta Insights to monitor and evaluate presence and performance of all social media accounts
-
Prepare monthly reports
-
Stay up to date on best practices and emerging trends in social media and digital marketing

Perform other duties when needed

Requirements:

English, French and Creole proficiency
-
Written communication skills

Graphic design and video editing skills
-
Proficiency in the following tools: Canva, Notion, Google Meets, Google Drive, Google Sheets and Calendar

Customer service skills
-
Availability to work in-person and remotely
-
Own gear (i.e: smartphone, laptop, internet)

Willingness to learn and grow
-
Confidentiality

Plus:

2+ years of experience in social media marketing

Skills in project management
